A friend of mine wants to sell his place in WV and move. His place is perfect for someone looking to GTFO dodge. 10+ acres with a large house and detached garage and apt combo. Across st from river.
I want to help him market it and sell. I think I remember some sites that specialized in "country living" or what we call potential off the grid homes. Anyone got input?

The best bet is a well-worded ad on Craigslist.
There are some overpriced websites you could advertise on but would get less traffic than Craigslist.

Last time I sold some land, I listed it with a broker and asked him if he would sell it for 3% if I found the buyer and 6% if he did. I kept it advertised on Craigslist for a couple years and finally sold it to a Craigslist buyer, with the realtor showing and closing it (I lived a thousand miles away).

Present the present the property in "Survival Blog" as a WTSHTF retreat and it will sell right away..........is it far from everyone?, does it has a well or creeck?, a place to put in a garden?, good pasture, a place under the house?.........and so on.
