According to the result of research findings, cancer is a lactic acid, which is formed when a certain kind of fungus or moldlives in an environment devoid of oxygen. It was also discovered that by passing a very high concentration of oxygen molecules through cancer cells, it could destroy them completely.

It is really very difficult for anyone to wrap their head around the idea that a substance as common as sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) can offer much more benefits than most of the pharmaceutical drugs that cost so much. There is however fascinating evidence that proves that sodium bicarbonate can indeed cure a lot of serious diseases, such as cancer and diabetes. Sodium bicarbonate, it must be noted, is a very widely researched substance, which has been used for several years even by oncologists. All over the world, multitudes add sodium bicarbonate to their drinking water with the intention of curingclinical acidosis and other adverse conditions. It isa well known fact that sodium bicarbonate has saved a lot of lives in the emergengy rooms. The combination of baking soda with other natural substances like iodine and magnesium chloride produces a mixture that is a wonder in the medical world.

A major issue with regards tohuman physiology is the problem of a lack of bicarbonate ions. This results in a decrease in the pH value of the blood. Enzymes are a fundamental part of biochemical reactions and they are highly sensitive to pH levels. They work best in an environment that is not acidic. The fact that cells function better is a slightly alkaline environment gives credence to the effectiveness of baking soda.

Diet plays a very important role in keeping the pH levels ofthe blood at acceptable levels. Unfortunately,our modern diet encourages a decrease in the pH level, making it acidic. Cellular activities and functions are drastically hamperedwhen there is an consistent imbalance in the ph value. Cells begin to deteriorate when the pH value is acidic, leading to severe health issues like cancer, gastritis, osteoporosis, diabetes and heart disease, among others.

Sodium bicarbonate helps to transport oxygen by dilating the blood vessels and releasing oxyegn into the cell tissues, thereby increasing the pH value. When the pH value of urine is high, there is no crystallization of waste products in the urinary tract.

It is a known fact that uric acid causes gout, kidney stones, diabetes and heart diseases. Alcosan, which is a toxic compound is formed by fungi in an acidic environment has been shown to cause various cancers and diabetes. By orally administering baking soda, serious diseases like arthritis, gout, influenza can be prevented. It also helps the pancreas to adequately carry out its activities, which include the production of insulin and bicarbonate ions.

What does it do to your sodium levels? I once read that sodium from salt is more conducive to high blood pressure than sodium from other sources. If you have high blood pressure, baking soda wont cause a problem?

I don't think there is much evidence to begin with that high sodium intake is the cause of high blood pressure. Excessive sodium is secreted by the kidneys if they have normal function. There is no evidence to suggest that reducing your sodium intake lowers your risk of cardiovascular events (stroke, myocardial infarction), further there is little evidence lowering your blood pressure by taking antihypertensive drugs reduces your death rate long term. Some people have higher blood pressure naturally, probably because their brains require more energy

I'm not disparaging baking soda because of the link between sodium and high blood pressure, if there is such a link. I think this link is similar to the link between cholesterol and heart disease, or smoking and cancer. Just an interpretation of statistics, and not rigorously scientific.

Baking soda is a substance that has a multitude of uses. One of them is to alkalize your body, or parts of it. And this gets to a competition between two theories, or views about health. The dominant theory of health in western (allopathic) medicine is the Germ Theory of Louis Pasteur. Germs, Pasteur said germs cause disease, so if you kill the germs, you will be healthy. Germs are everywhere, and they invade your body if you get close to them. This view is good for people who make products that kill germs. The other theory--is the view of Antoine Bechamp, a contemporary of Pasteur who also lived in Paris. Bechamp said that your body creates germs when the conditions in your body are conducive to the existence of germs. If you control the conditions in your body so as to not be 'germ friendly' you will stay healthy.

Germs favor acidic environments. So, maintaining a slightly alkaline body prevents diseases from invading your body. Baking soda, therefore is a way to prevent disease--or rather to maintain health.

Few people have ever heard of Bechamp. Pasteur's views dominate thinking about health. Bechamp is similar to Tesla and Kropotkin who are not widely known because they were marginalized by commercial interests. Edison in the case of Tesla, and Darwin in the case of Kropotkin.

Baking soda costs as much as salt. So if there are pharmaceutical drugs that do the same thing it does, you'll hear about them, but no one will give you a clue that baking soda can do the same thing at far less cost.

I'm giving it a try. One teaspoon twice a day. Oh and it tastes really bad so salty. I'll keep you posted if I see any changes.

I tried it before, must have been a tad too much because it led to explosive diarrhea... Don't know if there were any benefits because I was too busy.

I've been taking a teaspoon after breakfast and after dinner. My energy and stamina are way up and I'm feeling really good. My muscles don't ache as long after a work out and I don't get up to pee as often at night either.

The Remedy – Maple Syrup and Baking Powder (Bicarbonate of soda)

Mix 1 part baking soda to 3 parts maple syrup
Heat rigorously in a pan for 5 minutes

Take two teaspoons of the mixture per day for the first week and then one teaspoon per day as needed.

Try to get 100% Grade B maple syrup.

Dr Mark Sircus has examined the results and comments as follows:-

“cancer cells gobble up sugar so when you encourage the intake of sugar it’s like sending in a Trojan horse. The sugar is not going to encourage the growth of the cancer colonies because the baking soda is going to kill the cells before they have a chance to grow”

“The treatment is a combination of pure, 100% maple syrup [bulk Grade B from the health food store] and baking soda and was first reported on the Cancer Tutor site. When mixed and heated together, the maple syrup and baking soda bind together. The maple syrup targets cancer cells (which consume 15 times more glucose than normal cells) and the baking soda, which is dragged into the cancer cell by the maple syrup, being very alkaline forces a rapid shift in pH killing the cell.”

An almost identical remedy has been suggested by Italian Dr Simoncini – who claims to treat cancer as if it were a fungus.
