I'm referring to the Bowe Bergdahl deal, i.e. trading five top Taliban for a collaborator (which includes the deaths of troops dispatched to retrieve the deserter). I'm thinking NO ONE could possibly be THAT stupid as to pull off a stunt like this knowing the whole back story on Bergdahl and the subsequent events consequential to his desertion.

I only know what Joyce Riley has been saying about this and she thinks it is a total planned hoax. On a more surface level, isn't it the crime of "aiding and abetting the enemy" when we contribute 5 top Taliban guys to join the enemy Taliban and fight against us?

Maybe it is meant to demoralize soldiers who are there or who are home now but suffering with physical disabilities. Some soldiers even lost their lives trying to find that guy over there and now the parents are invited to the Rose Garden for a hug and photo op with the OBummer.
