How on earth did I get so jaded...
Is it possible the California Chrome story is a fairytale designed to bring the common man's interest back to the elitist sport of horse racing?
The common man is rooting for the underdog, why?
Is it because the elite are leaving the common man in the dust today?
Is the sport of kings just another disply of wealth akin to the elite building great mausoleums to themselves to display their worth?
Is there more to this story then a couple of common men breeding a couple glue horses, resulting in a possible Tripple Crown Winner.
I'm probably wrong, but this race has bought a lot of interest of the common man to this race. And the story is sold over and over again by the MSM.
Maybe the elite have grown tired of displaying their wealth to each other and they want the common man to come back to view their wealth, their sport, the sport of kings!
Or maybe they just need more attendence at the local race tracks to keep the business afloat?
