Evil has infiltrated the church groups from the beginning. Just as the governments and all other institutions have been corrupted, so also have most "religious" groups. Religion is not good. Those who think religion is the issue have not understood reality. A relationship DIRECTLY with YHWH through the Messiah transcends any religion. Religions just get in the way.

The flagellation thing is demonic. People think they can make themselves pure by self-torture, and thereby insult the ONLY redeeming possible in the Messiah. He gave His own life one time and only one time, that we could live. We can add nothing to that.

This is indeed shocking but I have been following the antics of Planned Parenthood for many years and it is truly an Orwellian, Luciferian, and Satanic operation from the word go so I am not terribly shocked.

Now, I would not be too quick to say that Christian religion is where sado-masochism began.

St. Paul in at least two places in his epistles mentions "pummeling his body", but it had more I think to do with just getting his body under control. Many early Christians wore hair shirts. It has to do with ignoring comfort or discomfort in this body in this world, and staying focused on what is important, the things of the spirit and of attaining the reward for being not conformed to this rotten world system -- the world, the flesh and the devil. St. Paul's idea was NOT to derive sexual pleasure from pain, though that was certainly useable and twistable by Satan. Having sex freely, sex of any kind and of any amount, with no thought of creating life and having responsibilities to raise children, has always been a top tool of Satan.

Again, I have not thought about this thoroughly but just wanted to issue a few cautions from jumping to conclusions.

The word "devil" is the word "lived" backwards.

So far satan (lucifer...the devil) is the only one sentenced by God to perish....as in "lived".

Sanger divorced her husband and was seen arm in arm walking around New York I think with another man while she was still married. Considering her activism I do not think she was much of a stay at home mother or a good mother or even a person who was shut in because of having TB.

The words of the apostles were: crucify your flesh, take up your cross daily. This is spiritual talk for subjecting the cravings of a sin-tainted flesh to the will of the Spirit. Consider the flesh dead so that no sin can live in it since there is no longer a marriage when one of the partners is dead. Dead to sin, permits life in the Spirit.

The failure of the Church is in the denial of Spirit rather than denial of the flesh.
