The global economic system is near collapse, according to Pope Francis.

An economy built on money-worship and war and scarred by yawning inequality and youth unemployment (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/07/youth-unemployment-worldwide-joblessness_n_4019601.html) cannot survive, the 77-year-old Roman Catholic leader suggested in a newly published interview (http://www.lavanguardia.com/internacional/20140612/54408951579/entrevista-papa-francisco.html).

“We are excluding an entire generation to sustain a system that is not good,” he told La Vanguardia’s Vatican reporter (http://www.lavanguardia.com/internacional/20140612/54408951579/entrevista-papa-francisco.html), Henrique Cymerman. (Read an English translation here (http://www.patheos.com/blogs/catholicnews/2014/06/pope-francis-interview-with-la-vanguardia-full-text/#ixzz34XQikRFJ).) “Our global economic system can’t take any more (http://www.businessweek.com/news/2014-06-13/pope-says-global-system-can-t-take-any-more-vanguardia-reports).”

The pontiff said he was especially concerned about youth unemployment (http://www.ilo.org/wcmsp5/groups/public/---dgreports/---dcomm/documents/publication/wcms_212423.pdf), which hit 13.1 percent last year, according to a report (http://www.ilo.org/wcmsp5/groups/public/---dgreports/---dcomm/---publ/documents/publication/wcms_233953.pdf) by the International Labor Organization.

"The rate of unemployment is very worrisome to me, which in some countries is over 50 percent," he said. "Someone told me that 75 million young Europeans under 25 years of age are unemployed. That is an atrocity."

That 75 million is actually the total (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/07/youth-unemployment-worldwide-joblessness_n_4019601.html) for the whole world, according to the ILO, but that is still too much youth unemployment.
Pope Francis denounced (http://www.businessinsider.com/pope-francis-the-worlds-idolatrous-economies-only-survive-through-war-2014-6#ixzz34WJougIB) the influence of war and the military on the global economy in particular:
“We discard a whole generation to maintain an economic system that no longer endures, a system that to survive has to make war, as the big empires have always done,” he said.

"But since we cannot wage the Third World War, we make regional wars," he added. "And what does that mean? That we make and sell arms. And with that the balance sheets of the idolatrous economies -- the big world economies that sacrifice man at the feet of the idol of money -- are obviously cleaned up."

Pope Francis is gaining a reputation for pointed comments on the global economy. In April, amid feverish media coverage (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/04/25/piketty-amazon-reviews_n_5212386.html) of French economist Thomas Piketty's bombshell book on income inequality, he made clear his stance on the widening wealth gap (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/04/28/pope-francis-tweet-inequality_n_5227563.html) with a tweet saying: "Inequality is the root of social evil."

Fittingly, the pope commemorated Thursday's kick-off game of the World Cup – a global tournament that has so far cost host nation Brazil at least $15 billion (http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/tournament/competition/02/36/32/63/faq_en_neutral.pdf) and sparked violent protest by the country’s disenfranchised poor – with this message to his 4.14 million Twitter followers:

IF anti-pope Francis is so concerned about the world and the economy and youth unemployment, what in the heck is he doing praying with a Muslim and Shimon Peres on the grounds of the headquarters of the one holy catholic and apostolic visible church that Christ founded on this earth? All three pray to different gods, and only one prays to God. And one of those people and his nation and his people's machinations throughout international banking and finance have created the collapse of nations, have created one unjust war after another for centuries and therefore have created mass slave labor and mass unemployment.

If the anti-pope wants to do something good and right and helpful to all people, he would lift up and proclaim in every way possible the One True God Who is the only One Who can help us in this world and the next.

Dachsie- the Roman Church has NEVER been "the one holy catholic and apostolic visible church that Christ founded on this earth". It's inception was in the third century by Constantine. Without Constantine there would be no pope, no priesthood, no church "magisterium". You act surprised when the pope does devilish things now. They always have. It is just that now they push the envelope and some people are getting educated on what really is going on.

The pope does not pray to the One True YHWH and his gospel is not the gospel of Yahshuah. The Roman church has perverted the doctrines and names of the bible and qualifies as the great harlot. Just consider that the pope proclaims the only way to God is through him- the pope. He claims to be the Vicar of Christ, the "Holy See". Only through his cadre of priests can you receive the sacraments: forgiveness for sins, salvation through baptism, holy communion. He usurps the authority of God on earth. This is devil work.

Its a case of a good cop allowing the bad cop to operate business as usual.

Imagine him pointing a finger at usury banks, OMG...

The global economy is near collapse because the global financial system is too rotten to work any more. People are losing faith in it, and faith is the realm of the Pope. And, because God doesn't drive the global financial system, the Pope is powerless to restore faith in the rotten system. The pope might be praying for a miracle.

If the pope is so worried about youth unemployment, why doesn't he call for an end to the minimum wage? Minimum wage laws are the #1 reason for youth unemployment, because it makes hiring young people ILLEGAL!!!!
