same thing happened in the town I grew up in. It took just 1 section 8 family then before we knew it tons of them and a once nice safe place became a fucking shit hole!

I would believe you. I first went to Detroit in July of 1967. The Burroughs Corp sent me to their own computer school which was in a building not far from Tiger Stadium. At that time they needed a chain-link fence with razor wire at the top around the parking lot to make sure the teacher's cars still had tires and batteries when they wanted to go home. My trip was delayed by one week to let the Michigan national guard get control of the city.

Over the years I have worked a number of jobs in the Detroit area and always enjoyed my stay across the river in safe clean nice Windsor, Ontario.

You just don't hear of these problems in white neighborhoods or schools. My friend who is from Chicago can tell the exact same stories and how and when his neighborhood went to shit.
