Over the years I have owned and have used many hand glasses, from ww2 surplus to very high end ones.

A good set of binoculars are a must for they that want to know/see/being nosy/bird watching/beach lizard watching, etc, etc!

Got tired of my current very low end Bushnell that got so old the eye peace rubbers cracked and disintegrated along with other problems.

So did the amazon thing and found these Whitetails unlimited by pentex

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00009XOMO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Which going by the ratings I bought one!

WoW!

Best dam glass for the price I have ever found!

Very crisp, the focus knob should have a distance scale because even farther than 100 yards it is not one focus fits all. It could be used as a range finder if marked.

The optics are clear.

Best bang for the buck, total rubber like coating, egnoramics are very good.

And the BaK4 prism glass

They are heavy as things go, but good glass will be heavy.

Well made, tho as stated they are made by pentex,

But you will not find the name on them.

Very good optics!

Again best dam bang for the buck for good optics!
