The Taliban in Afghanistan say that they have carried out a rocket attack on hundreds of oil tankers outside the capital, Kabul.

It was unclear whether there had been any casualties in the incident which happened late on Friday.

Firefighters spent all night tackling the blaze, but fires were still burning on Saturday morning.

The tankers were reportedly transporting fuel for Nato forces and were parked at the time of the attack.

An Afghan security official quoted by the AP news agency said that at least 400 fuel tankers caught fire in a parking lot in the outskirts of Kabul.

would you really park the tankers in that fashion? It doesn't look like all of the tankers where hooked up. So parked up in a way where they can't move or manouver, blocked in on all sides and full of fuel. Any security protection? smells like Fish in a barrel.

actually the video shows a fair few more prime movers hooked up. Cab's are burnt to the frame.

I can at least say that I never murdered anyone.

And I am glad you admitted it is a "problem" since the muslimites are a savage brood. Those like the Taliban are like the devils running the major countries today. The supposedly "peaceful muslims are like our socialist progressive demoncrats who don't know truth but endorse the devils.

"Their problem" is being made our problem.
