How is the Gaza/Israel situation different from the Mexico/US

Since everyone is supporting Israel's right to slaughter the Palestinians to protect it's nation, how is it so much different to what is happening to our country?

A group of terrorist are sending rockets into Israel, most are intercepted, little damage is reported with no casualties.
Israel strikes back with superior force, targeting Hamas locations, leveling cities and killing massive amounts of innocent people. The US supports their right to do this and offers full support if needed. Damage to Israel is not permanent.

On the other hand, terrorist in Mexico are sending weapons of mass destruction into the US that will cause permanent damage to our country. The terrorist in Mexico are the Mexican government and drug cartels. The weapons of mass destruction are people, drugs, disease, brutal street gangs and economic bombs overwhelming our system.

In my mind, why does the US not have the same right to target the terrorist locations in Mexico. The trains carrying these WMD's, locations of the drug cartel mules along the border with air strikes and superior weaponry.
Wouldn't we also be justified in doing so as Israel?

Does anyone in the US still think Mexico is our friend, other then liberal democrats that need votes?

I've always believed the border problem was an easily solvable problem, but I've never heard it discussed anywhere.
All that needs to be done is to annex a 10/20 mile swath of land across the whole Mexican border and move all US military bases/installations there. Fence them and and post the same warnings and security that military bases have now.

What happens if you or I jump a fence in a military base with intent of doing harm?

I think military bases should have been built there from the beginning, but someone would had to have the foresight for that. We're just not that smart.

As vast as US military strength is, it's a bit difficult to defend the borders of your own country when all the resources have been diverted to defend the interests of another "country" on the other side of the planet. It's not "our" military, EE... those resources appear to have been subverted and to be currently under the control of the Zionist.
