...and most Americans are too stupid and/or ignorant to know the difference. I don't know whether they have been called on this, but I would expect the usual backpedaling and claims of "an honest mistake" being made... BULLSHIT!

Israel Shoots Down Hamas' First Combat Drone With $1M Missile

As the battle between Israel and Hamas raged (http://online.wsj.com/articles/israel-shoots-down-palestinian-drone-1405336514) into its sixth day, Hamas launched a drone into the fight. It reportedly cost Israel a million dollars to swiftly knock it down with a Patriot missile. From the ABC report (http://abcnews.go.com/International/israel-downed-drone-gaza-death-toll-climbs/story?id=24548970):

The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that Israel brought down was targeted with a Patriot missile, the Israeli military said, near the southern city of Ashdod. There’s no evidence the small downed drone was armed, a senior Israeli military intelligence official told ABC News, adding they believe it was launched for the benefit of media attention.
And here is the media attention. According to ABC's military consultant, "using a Patriot to shoot down a UAV is like using a shotgun to kill a fly.” An expensive shotgun at that.
Meanwhile, the firing of rockets into Israel from Gaza and Israeli airstrikes continued with the Palestinian death toll rising past 170. As Joshua Mitnick noted (http://online.wsj.com/articles/israel-shoots-down-palestinian-drone-1405336514):

Since Tuesday, Hamas and other militant factions in Gaza have fired 971 rockets at Israel. So far, however, they inflicted no fatalities and only light damage, largely due to the effectiveness of Israel's air defense system.
In contrast, Israel has carried out more than 1,300 airstrikes in the Gaza Strip in the same period. At least 172 people have been killed, many of them civilians, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza. The extent of infrastructure damage isn't yet known."
While various international leaders and diplomats work behind the scenes to cajole Israel and Hamas into a ceasefire, the leaders themselves continue to resist calls to stop.
Today, the Arab League met (http://www.timesofisrael.com/after-six-days-of-hamas-rocket-attacks-gazans-flee-threatened-new-israeli-strikes-operation-protective-edge-day-7/) in Cairo and issued a statement calling on the international community to stop Israel's airstrikes. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made his case to Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, saying that "long-term quiet" is the goal of the Israeli counteroffensive.

I don't read what is going on right now because it hurts to much, one other Arabs comes to the aid of the Palestinian people I will read the news about it once again...tell you what...the Zionists better don't even think of going back into Lebanon or they will loose their ass once again, the fighters in Lebanon are now better prepared than when they won the offensive by the Zionists last time.

it's just more of their favorite lying MO: Flip The Script And Project, or what I call The Chutzpah Maneuver.

On day of 911, FAUX News took old footage of a Palestinian wedding where they were in the street cheering joyously, and told viewers it was the Palestinians celebrating the success of the (joo false flag) attacks.

I showed this video to an ignorant, but increasingly sympathetic colleague yesterday to reinforce what I am trying to teach him. I explained to him that the "mistake" (yeah right) would be "apologized for (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/07/11/diane-sawyer-apologizes-for-mistake-in-israel-palestinian-coverage/)", but that it wouldn't matter, because the reinforcing impression would have already been made on those that not only don't know any better, but "know" that the Israelis are the victims, and the Palestinians are nothing but bloodthirsty terrorists, through conditioning that has been done on them their entire lives. The only people that will be looking for a retraction already know the score, so it doesn't matter.

Bottom line: the media planned for this to play out exactly as it has, because in the end, Israeli interests are served, as they are every time. That's chutzpah.

McCain admires 'Israeli restraint' despite 175 deaths in Gaza

Hawkish US Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) says Israel is demonstrating “restraint” in its continuing airstrikes on the Gaza Strip that have killed over 170 people, adding such “restraint” is “admirable.”

According to the latest reports, the death toll from Israel’s attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip has risen to 175. Over 1,230 Palestinians have also been injured since the Tel Aviv regime began its deadly airstrikes on Gaza on Tuesday.
Reports also show Palestinian families are fleeing their homes in northern Gaza. According to the Gaza-based Palestinian Centre for Human Rights, more than three quarters of the victims are civilians.
Meanwhile, Palestinian fighters have launched more rockets into Israel in retaliation for the bombardment of Gaza.
In an interview with CNN’s ‘State of the Union’ on Sunday, McCain said the situation has become “more dangerous than any time in the past” and he blamed Palestinians for Israel’s atrocities against them.
“It's very important to understand: There's no moral equivalency here. Israel is being attacked by hundreds of rockets,” McCain, who is a member of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said.
“Picture the United States of America with a country contiguous to ours, that we're being subjected to rocket attacks. So the restraint of the Israelis, in my view, is admirable,” the Arizona Republican added.
McCain’s remarks came just two days after Jewish protesters in 15 US cities condemned the Zionist regime for its atrocities against Palestinians.
On Friday, Jewish Voice for Peace organized anti-Israel protests in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco, among other US cities.
Jewish Voice for Peace is allied with the international Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement which campaigns for the boycott of Israeli goods.
