We have long known that there were people in the Americas 33,000 years ago, 20,000 years before the Amerinds arrived from Siberia. They made fantastic structures and intricate stone carvings and terraformed the countryside. In South America large parts of Brazil and adjoining countries had tremendous cultivation programs and orchards.
Alas, many of the original inhabitants were exterminated by the newly arriving Amerinds , and the relatively advanced cultures fell into decay, especially the advanced agricultural societies. Some of the people survived. Their skull features were Caucasoid as determined from thousands of skulls in the Mexican museums. It is believed that many of them had blond hair or red hair as witnessed in the hair coloration of many of the ancients buried in the deserts of South America where their bodies and hair strands were preserved.
The Inca ruling class were believed to be from the original inhabitants and they were described as light haired and tall compared to the Amerinds. There was one large light haired tribe in the Peru area that were called the Sea People because they made their living from the sea and were experienced in navigating out to the islands in the Pacific. Prior to the arrival of the Spanish, one Inca king took a voyage out into the Pacific with the Sea People as recorded in their own (Inca) history. He returned after almost a year and related that he had spent time on a well populated island where there were many fruits and crops to live on along with the fish and otehr creatures for protein. (Not that he understood what protein was, but meat eaters liked their meat.)
The Algonquin language speaking Eastern Woodland Indians that the British met in North America appeared to be very European looking (Caucasoid bone structure), so it was easy for the British to accept them. The only positive proof of their features was that many of them that ventured to Europe on ships, were painted on canvas and appeared to look much like Europeans. Sadly, most of them were exterminated by the Puritans and other newly arriving Englishmen who waged a war of genocide on those very same eastern tribes that befriended them and welcomed them originally. That left the Amerind looking Iroquois, and Cherokee Indians in the East and about 90 percent of them were exterminated or forced to move west. many of the Cherokee are now in Oklahoma. They may have passed through Oklahoma 10,000 years earlier, but they were living in the East when the White man arrived only to be pushed westward as we stole their land.
