Someone is using the back of my property to dump their junk......I just found an old electric heather back there.........now then, I am thinking in having someone take some fingerprint out of it and then see a lawyer for him to learn from the cops who it belongs to, it will cost me money but I believe that I will be able to recover the money in court.....what do you guys think?

can you recycle any part of the heater? I don't know how you would go court wise. Sounds like you need an all seeing eye.

Hey Ponce ... In regard to finger printing the Heater... Unless the person has a record and had their finger prints taken they wont be able to find out who it was. Also there may be many prints on the heater and proving who actually dumped it may be impossible. You need a wireless camera to a remote recording device or one that records on motion detected. How far is the back of your property? Can you block access to the area so they cannot drive up? That would help solve any more dumping... but when there is a will there is a way!

I was thinking in getting a wireless game camera......I believe that it was the guy who had his water line attached to my main wire line that never told me about it, the same guy that destroy part of the water line of my buddy who told me about the guys water line attached to my water line and in his property..........by the way, everyone around here has a criminal record.

Still asleep don't really know what I am typing.

here are a few thoughts, Ponce. in many states, pursuing trespass cases simply does not rate anything beyond a sheriff's report. the county da simply will not prosecute because the cost benefit analysis of doing so does not rise to the level of states' attorniesgeneral laundry list of what can be economically justified. furthermore, the stated remedies financially are limited to what the state can prove, and they customarily use an economic test in order to determine which "class of felony or misdemeanor said trespass crosses.

that's just a long winded way of saying if the state won't do it because they can't make money (collect enough fine revenue to offset prosecution costs) then what does that say for your chances to not open a big old rip to your finances if you do it civilly?

if there is no economic motivation for establishment to pursue trespass cases, what does that say about cost benefit analysis beyond involving an attorney in the first place? if you were sucessful in determining who did what to your property, you most likely will have to document minimally the cost of your cleanup, and the remedy may not be worth your time and effort.

if i remember rightly, you are on patented land. that fact alone may limit your use of the corporation court system to enforce your no-trespass rights and remedies.

those are my thoughts.

Illegal dumping is a BIG step beyond trespassing. As for land rights, owning land should have at least as much in rights protection as one leasing.

If you can dust for prints and run a scan for matches inexpensively, it might be better to approach the offender with the facts before filing any charges. If you do nothing, that one item will grow to a pile of crap.

I'd definetly file a report so that you don't take the fall for it. Forbid that they dump some toxic shit that you get blamed for.

Thanks for your answer guys.......I was thinking of going to small claim rather than a regular court, here in Oregon you can ask up to $5,000.

A few minutes ago I spoke to his friend and he looked very nervous when I told him what I was planning in doing.....

Man oh man, the creek is dry, dry, bone dry........a very dark future for those here with no water tank as a back up.

On this side of the country we have plenty of water. I have a full well and an above ground storage of treated water- about 12,000 gal. In a pinch, I can carbon filter the water for drinking.

Polar opposites as far as the country goes with rainfall the last few years or so.

What happens when the creeks/wells run dry?

Bottled water?

Cali is a good example of stealing from peter to pay paul moving water from water rich areas to the citys that should never been allowed to grow so big.

Who builds mega city's in a dam desert without knowing that someday things will dry up tighter than granny emmwa's twat?

No snow or rain to replenish the creeks/rivers and water tables, they will pump the aquifers dry. Wells will dry up.

Pipelines that take years to lay and from where will they use as a source.

I maybe foolish, but I bet some are looking at the great lakes as a source.

The western states for now are screwed, blued, and being tattooed!

With no end in sight of any relief.

Well amigos, the creek at the bottom is dry and the wells are dried ......got a wake up call this morning at 06:30 from Missury (?) from the guy across from me asking for water, he will have his people work for me one day a week, already made the hose connections so that they now have water.

I still foresee big trouble coming from others...someone was spreading the word that I WANTED MONEY FOR MY WATER...... remember what I said longggggggggggggggg ago? "The next big war will be over water and not over oil" but of course at that time I wasn't counting the US as being the world warmonger soooooooooo.........who knows.

The next BIG war? It doesn't affect me any- so it ain't so big. Sounds like a small neighborhood SHTF scenario. We will all sit back, eat popcorn, and take notes.

Yes- places like Las Vegas are TOAST.

Yet home prices are still recovering in Las Vegas and California home prices are at record highs.

Is this a good time to buy an 800 sq ft home in Pasadena, Ca for $550,000?

You'd better hope you're not the only one around with water. Word might get out miles away that you're sharing it and people will think you should share it with everyone.

Rule #1 don't trust anyone
Rule #2 tell everyone you don't have any either. Act as poor as everyone else to blend in.

I use gloves I get at the free clinic, there are no finger prints man.

I agree with the game camera, only activated by movement then take that to the pigs, the state or county might take over for free. PS that's BS people dumping shit on your place. Here I wouldn't care I need landfill.
