I think the most important thing to consider, is that it probably won't spread in well nourished western societies, like it do in the most impoverished malnourished countries of Africa, and probably mortality rates of those who do get it will be much less too. Avoid the vaccine at all costs. And stay away from people while the vaccination campaign is ongoing. The greatest risk is the Vaccine, second greatest risk is getting the virus from vaccinated people, third greatest risk is to be killed by the vaccinators for non-compliance. Don't underestimate the fervor and fanaticism of the people who will do their outmost to "protect" humanity and the society from Ebola... And don't underestimate the evil of the people who have planned all this...

seems to be entering a new phase. A whole series of things are occurring that might make it more devastating.
Health-care staff fear for their lives. To date, more than 170 health-care workers have been infected and at least 81 have died.
When the trained health care workers die the health system collapses. When it collapses it stops providing any benefit at all. Outbreak increases.
Outbreak control is further compromised when fear causes airlines to refuse to transport personal protective equipment and courier services to refuse to transport properly and securely packaged patient samples to a WHO-approved laboratory
Can't get supplies in country. Aircrews still need to interact with people on the ground and could get infected. Everyone says "no thanks".
Six months into the outbreak, fear is proving to be the most difficult barrier to overcome. Fear causes contacts of cases to escape from the surveillance system, families to hide symptomatic loved ones or take them to traditional healers, and patients to flee treatment centres. Fear, and the hostility it can feed, have threatened the security of national and international response teams.
Its chaos and people are going every which way. It's bound to spread if this continues. Its playing out like a zombie apocalypse.
