Probably something they are eating?
Sounds like Japan is having the same problem. No one has any idea what's causing it?

could it be fukashima radiation coming off of the sea and onto the grass? I know its a stretch... but its odd that is only on the west coast and a disease they have never seen before! I hope they figure it out soon for the horses sakes!

Animals with the fastest growth rates and inbreeding would exhibit faster symptoms.
My client produces roe from salmon in Alaska for the Japanese market is out of business there are none of the species of salmon remaining in western Alaska.

Although this is not a fast paced video this is what my client sent to me. This guy is a naturalist and a professional scuba diver in BC in Canada. Almost 5000 species are gone, tidal pools are virtually without life

I have a hard time believing fukashima is to blame. Where I'm at, in central California, the sea life is thriving. Huge schools of anchovies have brought in all sorts of critters, from salmon and halibut, to whales and dolphins. Birds everywhere eating the fish, lots of healthy sea lions and sea otters playing in the surf. Heck, I've been in the ocean quite a bit lately, and I feel great.

You can see why some of the radiation doom articles severely conflict with what I see and experience firsthand.

I don't know where all the reports are coming from, maybe all hype?
Maybe you're in a lucky spot.
I'm sure you'll let us know if ever there is any change.

Other areas of water are having problems too.

The Gulf was reporting in the last couple weeks about bacteria in the water that can cause the flesh eating disease and a huge red tide that is killing sea life and is expected to kill a lot more soon.

Lake Erie also has a huge algae bloom recently that caused Toledo to lose drinking water.

Lake Erie used to be on fire in the '70s.
