One thing to point out, Enzo doesn't have ANY gear on him, not even a choke chain. As a handler it can be a little UN-nerving, because the only thing you have to control your dog, is your confidence that you trained him well.

Funny shit.

Awesome General, I only got a minute or two into the video before it crashed on me.

I think it's really cool Glenn Beck is there. He's not crying either, he's happy and healthy. How you managed that, my hat is off to you.

I enjoyed seeing the little cowboy on the dog fanning him with his hat. Here's a video of a South Dakota cowboy riding broncs for real. Kind of reminds me of the doll on the dog. Ha!Ha!

Awesome video, that little cowboy is effing hilarious. And yeah, WTF was Glen Beck doing there? Do you let him babysit your dog?

Aside from all the hard work and effort that GoD put into Enzo leading to his exemplary success as a first time handler, the key ingredient was starting with a dog that has it in him to do the work in the first place.

Enzo is likely to have some half-brothers and half-sisters next year. Enzo's sire (using frozen semen) will be bred to a Jano v. Bayern granddaughter out of some the finest old working line Dobes in western Europe (from old working line breeders going back into the '70s), no BS. (no need to name drop, this bitch comes from one of the most respected Dobe breeders in Europe with a track record going back >45 years; not only does she has a 'wow' pedigree, she was the most wonderful temperament, probably the best I've ever had out of a couple dozen Dobes spanning over 37 years.)

Enzo's stepsister Sonya at 12 months -

Sonya's awesome grandsire Jano lived to be nearly 13 y.o., a long time for a Dobe -

Yep, bloodlines mean everything! I know my Newf took a lot of the work out of it for me, a first time trainer in that aspect dealing with water trials etc... He knew instinctively what to do with just my guidance to correct and fine tune whatever we were working on and we worked on a LOT of things. He, Excaliber, was a damn smart dog! I did spend a pretty penny on him though and it was evident how much better he was than some of the other Newfs I encountered. Spending the time to research exactly the right breeder/bloodlines pays off bigtime.
