If you have Charter Internet you'll be having problems with loading times etc.
But you can change it to OpenDNS or GoogleDNS until they resolve it.
Here's how you do it.

Doesn't this make you easier to be tracked? I don't understand it and set it to google and wonder.
Here are other DNS servers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/tipstricks/a/free-public-dns-servers.htm

Unless you're actively using a program to hide your IP address, everything is being tracked. Keep in mind, there are BILLIONS of IP addresses, I venture to guess that most of us are on a "list", but WTF does that mean, nothing in my book because I'm a believer, if they come for you, DON'T GO. Fuck them.
If you want to try and hide under the radar regarding the internet, you have to unplug it. My guess is that if you don't watch kiddie porn, chatting on ISIS boards you should be ok.

Your probably right. I'm using the google one
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4.
And it really does speed up loading pages, I would guess twice as fast.
Thanks for the tip GoD!

NP, but there's OpenDNS etc I was dicking around with a few last night and the Google DNS did seem to be the fastest with every speed test I ran.
Keep in mind DNS is basically a mapping system, every domain name has an IP address, so the DNS just translates the domain name to an IP address to where you want to go and sends you on your way but with a bit more intelligence because the first thing your computer talks too is a DNS server and you tell it where you want to go, and the DNS server says, ok, here you go.
Now this is also the way reverse look up works, can Google store the websites you go to etc, sure, but with billions upon billions of addresses, there's too much info there unless it's on key ADDRESSES, not SEARCHING, just addresses that are being FLAGGED.
Searching though is a completed different situation. Do a search on how to make a dirty bomb etc would probably get your IP address flagged and then put into another "box" to start documenting what else you're searching. Like I'm probably in the box of doesn't like jews, because anytime someone is a fucking asshole I search their name with jew attached too it.
Here's a PERFECT example on internet PRECRIME
South Pasadena shooting plot caught early, police to increase presence at schoolhttp://www.pasadenastarnews.com/general-news/20140819/south-pasadena-shooting-plot-caught-early-police-to-increase-presence-at-school
Now this was ALL based on internet postings and internet SEARCHES, which is now used as physical evidence. Check this shit out.
South Pasadena Unified School District first notified police about the alleged plan on Aug. 14. Officers began investigations immediately and, through social media, performed online surveillance that revealed the boys were researching how to fire and assemble weapons.
Authorities don’t believe the boys have mental issues, officials said. The teenagers didn’t possess any weapons, but police discovered enough evidence on their computers to put them in handcuffs, Miller said.
The boys, Miller said, went online and researched automatic weapons, handguns, knives, rifles, bulletproof vests and bomb-making devices — specifically propane ones. They looked at web pages that taught them how to disarm people and how to overcome police.
They also looked into submachine guns, which could fire several rounds per second and could “cause catastrophe,” Sgt. Robert Bartl has said.

I don't use jewgle to search very often. Prefer duckduckgo or startpage and if too little comes up jewgle as last resort. I don't want to be tracked and bubbled.

On the other forum they are talking about using Pi-hole for DNS lookups. It is a local service that blocks ads and prevents your devices from "phoning home". You can deploy it across your local network and protect every connected device.

Consider using a PAID VPN service to hide your identity. I say paid because the free ones use very slow proxy servers with limited bandwidth and you won't use it very long. With a paid service you pay for the security as well as the bandwidth so performance is minimally impacted. The bill won't break the bank and the security you get is worth the price. DYODD!
