Never let a good crisis go to waste. This Ebola epidemic is a perfect opportunity for Big Pharma to sell drugs--whether they are effective or not. Big Pharma has a hold on American doctors, so the medical profession will not support any alternative treatment that cuts into the sale of Big Pharma's drugs. Even if it works.

This is just another manifestation of how our crony capitalism system works. The first and foremost concern is the crony capitalist's bottom line. The health and welfare of their customers is at the bottom of their list of concerns. Big Pharma hates competition, so the collude with big media to kill their competition.

I think wise people, especially in America should avoid all products from Big Pharma. Unfortunately, that means avoiding the medical profession because they promote and sell Big Pharma's products and ideas. I predict a massive shift to alternative medicine in the future as more people become aware of 'bottom line medicine' practiced by the corrupt system of health care in America.
