Just got back from walking my dog and in the kitchen I found not one but two cats eating together....when I turned on the lights I almost fainted..........it was a young raccoon eating with my cat. I wonder for how long this has been going on.
I hope that the raccoon can make it out of the inner fence around my home before my fat ass dog sees him, I'd probably wont sleep tonight.......Ponce on guard duty protecting a pest.

Eleven pm, raccoon went out of the house and fat ass was waiting for it.......raccoon faster and went over the fence.
Four am, raccoon back in the house and this time I chase it out, dog waiting outside and chases it.......but......this time dog got wrap up on one of my wires booby-traps and now is hurt under the house and wont come out, I'll check him out tomorrow morning.

Yesterday morning a skunk ran in front of my truck about 5 AM. I jammed on the brakes. Then wondered if I had hit it and rolled forward very slowly. Then I saw the skunk running along the road.
Then I realized my window was open a crack and closed it.
And this morning, I saw a raccoon just as I was pulling out of the driveway, about 5 AM. All I saw was the tail. But it wasn't a skunk tail or a possum tail, it was a fluffy tail.
I like the little critters.

At 5am one of my cats came and sat on my chest to wake me up. He was elected by the others to get me up to feed them all.
Routine morning. They are like a bunch of little kids.

In summer I let my back door open.....have a couple of alerts at chest level in case someone jumps my inner fence, raccoon climbs a tree and then jump to my roof and then uses my cat window..... to go out it comes down the stairs and out the door up the tree and out.....I don't think that this one will be coming back any time soon.

remember Ponche, those little bastards carry diseases, they get in a fight with your cat or dog and you've got Vet bills on your hands

No Pete, in three years I have never taken my cat or dog to the Vet I give them, myself, their yearly shots and that's it... I got a deal with them........"You ever get really sick and you will be going bye bye"......I am closed to them but not attached....I have lost to much to be attached to anything or anyone, one of the reasons why I live alone and away from everyone.....even what I own is not really mine, I only borrowed for as long as I am alive.
