They may have to. Over a 100 million Americans are unemployed now and it's even higher than that when you consider the underemployed and government workers. Real unemployment is above 50% IMO.

Automation has made workers more and more obsolete. I heard 50% of the existing jobs will go to machines in the next 20 years. You're piling on more and more unemployable people every year. The population doesn't stop growing. Capitalism and Markets will die unless something drastic is done.

That is not the goal, the goal is to made working class non existent and dependent on "the man" then cut them off. 3rd world sooner than you think. The ones making decent money still do, the working man isn't. My business reflects the working companies at large, they are in suck mode since 2005. Not meaning to sound dismal for the working class, 1 out of 15 business since 2005 are still in business, rest are gone.
