Montana maybe better if I was looking to bug out as you say . right now I am looking at some land next to a National Park , one owning more bug out land never hurts

60 miles from a city then a hour hike...Is a good bug out location.

If you can be seen...You are a gold nugget that can be targeted and shot full of glory holes with lead and mined by someone with gold fever.
