Take care of yourself, Ponce!

As for me, I had one of those days that just makes no sense, at all. I hauled some guy out of the water earlier and it's messing with my brain, makes no sense. I came across a boat docking, the deck full of panicked folks, and a dude in the water. I walked up, he extended his hand, and I grabbed it. Hauled him out of the water like it was nothing. Piece of cake. It shouldn't have been easy, but it was.

I think the world is just gone crazy.

Generally, most dizziness is caused by problems of the inner ear and is treatable. Common causes of inner ear dizziness include benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), migraine and inflammation of the inner ear balance apparatus called vestibular neuritis.

Think blood pressure drops can do it also.

a friend of mine here recently returned from holidays with an infection in their ear through to their sinus's. They have had partial hearing loss and are suffering pretty bad with vertigo. I've been away so not sure where they are at. Was going in to hospital or a clinic for clearing the sinus's but the hearing loss is supposed to be permanent and the vertigo may be as well. I think they went to Bali but not sure.

Ponce has high blood pressure though, from what he's posted. It's definitely not good to have big changes in BP. Ponce, what medications are they giving you? Have you told your doctor about your dizziness?

Have you told your doctor about your dizziness? I know, I have the same, and the med I take for it does make me light headed sometimes. Go in next week and they may change it.

I would do a search on the term syncope which means dizziness. See what Mercola and some non-MD health commentators have to say. Also read the insert paper in any RX medicines taken. If they do not give it to you, ASK FOR THAT PAPER. You can also read drug inserts online by typing in name of med.

Needless to say, syncope can be serious, and can cause accidents and falling and should not drive if having a lot of it.

Ponce, I believe you have many chapters left; don't let the dizziness get you down, there's lots of good advice here, follow it and you'll be OK soon enough. Take care!

Try some wine, it'll get the next months of dizzy time condensed into a couple hours.

Just clear away any hard pointy objects at floor level first.

I have found that dizzyness commonly is caused by biomechanic restrictions and misalignments in the upper neck. The balance organ of the brain is primarily getting input from three different locations, inner ear, eyes and mechanic proprioceptors from upper neck. Also you can get a feeling of unbalance if you don't have good sensation from legs, reduction in blood flow to brain (by taking anti-hypertensive medication for instance), iron deficiency, problems in the cerebellum, drug side-effects, or otherwise being in less than optimal health. The particular dizzyness you get from an input problem to the balance organ of the brainstem is usually characterized by a feeling of rotation, either you are rotating or the world around you...
