the carrot is so heavy everything is tipping over. nice work though. my potato tower got decimated while I was away. Lot of fat snails round these parts. raddish's held their own though. I need some dirt. Yours looks good. can you ship me some? maybe a 20ft sea container would do it. ;)

It is huge! I would like to add that I have never added anything artificial to the soil to get this carrot. The only thing added was some manure in the spring, but not very much. July was warmer than average. June and August colder than average... But good amount of rain, not too much or too little.

If you can get some chicken krap and mix with water and then let the water age a week or so!

Careful chicken krap is very hot and applied directly can burn/kill your plants a little will go a long way. Cow paddy's are great building up your soil along with other organics. If you do not yet, also start up a composting pile.

It seems like the world has a fascination with large carrots. Check out this site. Neuro, maybe you should enter that carrot into a contest or something. Your carrot is a lot nicer looking that the ones those guys are proud of.
