It's been labelled a fashion design disaster with the Colombian women's cycling team's new uniform featuring a skin-coloured strip through the most sensitive area that makes them look, well, naked.
They debuted their uniform at a major race in Italy over the weekend and took a hiding on social media and cycling websites.
"How sad," Italian cycling website Tutobiciweb headlined the article on the team's "nude look".
Twitter users were quick to criticise the uniform.
"It's horrible! The outfit of the female cyclists from #Colombia (https://twitter.com/hashtag/Colombia?src=hash) is a bit unfortunate.." posted @marjoleinvandew.
"This truly horrible cycling kit was sponsored by the City of Bagota. These women &their coaches have rocks for brains," posted @JillKerby.
The team were backed by Colombia's ministry of sport and was sponsored by the nation's capital city of Bogota.
