I would have to say you/yourself is your biggest threat to "your" happiness. Happiness is a choice that comes from within.

In society, the biggest threat to your personal life I would say, are the enforcers. Without the enforcers and their guns, you couldn't be made to submit to the will of evil and greedy people wishes...the same evil greedy people that created/fomented scary 'Radical Muslims'.

I disagree. The enablers (aka sheep) are a bigger threat than the enforcers 'cause the key to their success is to get the livestock to police themselves. This entails particularly going along to get along. Speaking of which, I'm still wondering about this LIVE debate challenge -
