The irony of honoring FRNs in silver

The more I think about this, the more ironic it seems.

Here's GovMint honoring the federal reserve note with the Franklin Silver Proof (http://www.govmint.com/currency/currency-proof/2014-100-dollar-1-oz-franklin-silver-proof.html). It's a likeness of a $100 FRN made with one ounce of silver--selling for $100. They even reproduced some of the lost value.
