JIM ROGERS WARNS: PREPARE , WE ARE ON THE BRINK OF A VERY SERIOUS COLLAPSE THAT WILL END WITH CURRENCY TURMOIL, FOOD SHORTAGES, PANIC, SOCIAL UNREST AND A TOTAL SHAKEDOWN OF AVERAGE CITIZENS.

Well known investor Jim Rogers, who made his fortune during the 1970′s crisis by investing in commodities like precious metals, has long-warned about the calamity faced by, not just America, but the world as a whole.
Rogers understands that we are living in perilous times, and that actions by governments, finance ministers and officials across the globe have left us on the brink of a very serious collapse that will end with currency turmoil, food shortages, panic, social unrest and a total shakedown of average citizens.
Now, with Europe having taken the unprecedented step of seizing private funds of depositors, Rogers suggest that time is running short and that those with the means to do so should get ready for the worst:
It’s pretty scary what’s going on in Europe…when they start taking money out of people’s bank accounts. I, for one, am making sure I don’t have too much money in any single bank account anywhere in the world.
Now there is a precedent…The IMF has said loot the bank accounts. The EU has said loot the bank accounts.
So you can be sure that other countries, when the problems come, are going to say… let’s do it too.
…They’re going to go crazy the next time around.
It’s going to happen. Of course it’s going to happen…
It’s politicians who are telling you it’s a special case… oh, don’t worry, don’t worry, don’t worry.
What more do you need to know?
When politicians are saying ‘You don’t have to worry’…
Please, you better hurry, you better run for the hills. I’m doing it anyway.
I want to make sure that I don’t get trapped.
Think of all the poor souls that just thought they had a simple bank account. Now they find out that they are making a ‘contribution’ to the stability of Cyprus. The gall of these politicians.
Don’t trust any government. If you’re going to listen to government, you’re going to go bankrupt very quickly.

Like his friend and colleague Marc Faber who has recommended farmland and hard assets to protect oneself, Jim Rogers says it’s time to head for the hills.
The fact is that Rogers has been a proponent of personal self reliance and farming since before the start of this crisis, having once argued that in the future it’ll be farmers who will be driving Ferraris, rather than Wall Street bankers.
Like Faber, who lives in the remote hills of rural Thailand, Rogers also owns property outside of major cities and says hard assets (commodities) will be one of the few safe havens during a major crisis.
As students of history and economics, both Rogers and Faber understand that major cities are not the place to be when modern-day financial and convenience delivery systems fall apart.
Be as far outside of the blast radius as possible. It’s gonna’ get ugly.

All these gurus have been warning of "on the brink" for many years. Disaster is always tomorrow. I wish these false prophets were punished accordingly.

Insufficient information.
I don't make prophetic proclamations.
Is disaster coming? Sure - some day. "On the brink"? Probably not!

Right or wrong they put their views and reputation out in public. It's easy to be a critic and have 20 20 hindsight. How would you punish someone like that?

"We are on the brink" is not warning, it's prophecy. False prophets should be punished.
The decline of America will continue to be a slide, not a drop of a cliff.
I find it funny Rogers lives in one of the most dense metropolises on Earth: Singapore. If he was convinced that economic collapse for America (and consequently, the world) was coming - or, especially, "on the brink" - he'd be living in a rural backwoods somewhere, Costa Rica, or Malaysia, for example. Michael Ruppert (RIP) moved out of LA to much more rural northwest California; he did have the courage of his convictions.

It's too obvious things are coming to a head. I would be very surprised if the status quo remained for two more years.

The rulers of this world will engineer a new major crisis, likely an intense war. But they will maintain control, and the slide into oblivion will continue.

I'm sure he and most other billionaires have a retreat property where they could retreat to in their own planes and helicopters if need be.

I'm not sure on the brink even means a timeline it could just mean the circumstances are correct for a collapse to occur. However it is ambiguous... Don't trust anyone with two first names.

That may very well be true. And if so, it shows his lack of comprehension of strategic planning. The concept of "bugging out" of a metropolis at the last minute is a fool's scheme.
But the greater likelihood is that he is just alarmist with nothing substantive to say. And therefore prefers the luxuries of Singapore, not having the conviction for imminent disaster.

"Brink" is essentially a synonym of "imminent." Merriam-Webster offers:

Perhaps the intended meaning is "it's a foregone conclusion and irreversible at this point, only a matter of time, can be counted in months or weeks not years."

Well, you won't have to wait for the future anymore. It's here. The next 12 months will be the slide down hell's canyon through briars, thorns, poisonous snakes, jagged rocks, bat guano and falling rocks from above. You will wish you had fallen off a cliff instead.
natural- earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, solar ejecta, space lightning
military- wars everywhere
disease- ebola is just one of many plagues we will see
famine- crops will get squeezed as weather snaps growing seasons
nuclear- Fuku will kill the Pacific Ocean and many people with cancers
financial- the economies will break and reality will start to crumble the fake walls
Your doom has been patiently waiting for the time to be right. Now you may have a full drink.

I think what this illustrates is one of the basics of human nature.
Rogers sees the signs of collapse. But can't bring himself to say, "it's happening now".
Also, his definition of 'collapse' appears related to 'market conditions', e.g. the stock market.
Where I live, Southern Oregon, adults behave like children on a regular basis. One of the common 'hobbies' is feuding with your neighbor (up to and including shooting them dead.)
The behavior of authority figures is no better. Doctors shake down patients for more money, denying them critical meds. if they don't sign up for big ticket diagnostic procedures, as an example.
And the cops ... I started a whole website to talk about them. Just too busy surviving to work on it - for right now.
People still in the 'bubble' - some parts of San Diego, Silicon Valley, SF - sometimes have trouble believing it. AND they control much of the media, mainstream AND alternative.
So I will say it -
Collapse is happening now. 9-11-2001 is a good date for its start, if you need one.

That's an accurate description to date. Personally I am surprised how well the central bankers have been able to keep it together especially from 2007. However I wouldn't extrapolate that to forever... Though it could be, however I think it is likely at some point the system will come to a breaking point. Probably created by something on the surface looking trivial. Don't know when, but for certain 'the slide' will continue until then...

one of the things that made knocking down WTC7 appealing was that it was a building full of government & legal offices that had information about many ongoing investigations of Wall Street (and therefore, Wall Street Jews).
the Jew crime gang that knocked down the WTC is intertwined with the Wall Street Jew crime gang.
and they're in control, of the US government, of agencies that control the Shabbas Goyim (e.g. cops), etc.
just as they couldn't pass up the opportunity to knock down WTC7 - which was one of the primary incidents that made it obvious that 9-11 was an inside Jew job - they can be counted on to create other incidents during the slide/ collapse.
7-7-5 being one example. ISIS being another possible example.
