I can't water my yard because water is expensive and there's a drought, but these politicians will give money like candy to illegals and won't fix our failing 100 year old infrastructure.

BTW - The comments are great.

The break occurred at approximately 2:18 p.m. on a 36-in. pipe that was installed back in 1916, according to the LADWP. The department said shutting down the pipe was a complex process (http://www.ladwpnews.com/go/doc/1475/2299282/) involving approximately 15 valves. The water was successfully shut off at approximately 6 p.m., with the cleanup beginning.

Parts of Sunset remained closed into the evening.

Bystanders and media organizations quickly began sharing photos on Twitter.

Before you can fix the new you must first fix the old........same idea for our nuclear plants and power supply......how can you fix something that you don't know anything about?......to have an idea as to how to do something does not say that you know how to do it.

Big problems in the future for those who will still be alive......problems getting bigger and bigger everyday but we must have our wars to "show" them the America way of life and we must honor the state of Israel by giving them what they want and making our own suffer.

To fix the present we must first find a solution to the old.....the old is like having a 150 lbs back pack while running away from a flood, the back pack will drag you down.......I see no hope in a future America.

Infrastructure here in Eastern TN is going just fine. Back where I came from bridges just fall.
