Red Bull has an amazing branding strategy. I don't think people actually buy Red Bull because they think it will make them perform at levels that RB has associated themselves with, but it doesn't matter. Selling their product seems to be secondary... their main business focus seems to be a promotions company for extreme human performance... if they sell some product that's great too.

seems to be the case with RB. Never drank the stuff myself. none of those "enerjy" drinks in fact. When there's 100 ingredients and all of them are indecipherable I'm thinking .... pass.

definately a grinding the crack contender there. I went out driving around the hills surrounding our city over the weekend. Came across a couple of interesting areas for MTB riding. Need some new places to go ride so I hope to get out there and check them out in the next few weeks. Before it gets too hot up there.

Also looking for a new bike. Was going to build one up. The bike he's riding looks pretty interesting. I was looking for a high end frame. This might be one to look closely at. The Santa Cruz Bronson in Carbon. I'll need a paltry $3500.00 for the frame. Then some wheels, gears, brakes, bars, saddle. Could end up being pricey.

My downhill race bike fund has been going to firearms. Good thing there's no more room in the safe because the winter series will be here soon enough.

yes my fund has had a couple of big hits this year so that it's now all gone. All of out of gold. Gotta start over so probably another season on the old bike. Seems to get heavier every year.
