WASHINGTON — Timothy Geithner (JEW), a key player in the government’s 2008 bailout of American International Group, on Tuesday affirmed in court his belief that the insurer’s rescue was needed to avert disaster for the financial system.

A lawyer grilled Geithner at the trial of a lawsuit brought by former AIG chairman and chief executive Maurice Greenberg (JEW). He is suing the federal government for about $40 billion over its handling of the bailout, claiming it violated the Constitution’s Fifth Amendment by taking control of the insurance giant without ‘‘just compensation’’ for the shares it received.

Of course it would have been better if the Government hadn't intervened at all and AIG had collapsed and pulled the banking system down with it, which would have been the result. Just compensation for the shares? You just have to look at the value of AIG just prior to governments rescue, not much, if no rescue it would be worthless. The chutzpah of Greenberg is mind blowing though, considering him and a lot of other Zionist friends in high position would have been destitute on the street without the goy rescue package they strong armed on the congress.

Yes, yes, but now they can go to New Zeeland to watch rugby for free in the VIP lounge, champagne and caviar included. It is worth it!

I think this is what they call the Silverstein Strategy.

What? He likes to watch Rugby in New Zeeland and let the tax payers foot the bill? Or being part of a conspiracy to ruin a property, blame it on someone else and let innocent people pay for the damage, TWICE? While at the same time promoting perpetual war in the middle east for Israel, and let people who have no personal interest in the conflict pay with blood and wealth!

I bet you dollars to bagels

The lawyers and the judge were shylocks too.

Like a dam kibutz masquerading as a courtroom.
