"A Liberian Ebola patient was left in an open area of a Dallas emergency room for hours, and the nurses treating him worked for days without proper protective gear and faced constantly changing protocols, according to a statement released late Tuesday by the largest U.S. nurses’ union.

Nurses were forced to use medical tape to secure openings in their flimsy garments, worried that their necks and heads were exposed as they cared for a patient with explosive diarrhea and projectile vomiting, said Deborah Burger of National Nurses United."

Classic. Can't wait for the movie. /sarc

Wendell Watson, a Presbyterian spokesman, did not respond to specific claims by the nurses but said the hospital has not received similar complaints.
“Patient and employee safety is our greatest priority and we take compliance very seriously,” he said in a statement. “We have numerous measures in place to provide a safe working environment, including mandatory annual training and a 24/7 hotline and other mechanisms that allow for anonymous reporting.”

LOL... does this guy realize how pathetic and impotent this statement sounds in the context in which it was given? "Mandatory annual training"... I'm sure everyone has sat through training such as this at their company at some point? Yup, beyond useless. The employees suffer through it, and sign the form that says they attended, and both the insurance company and business are legally covered.

Jeez.

They are saying now that the original patent received no special treatment nor precautions taken at first because they had no clue it was Ebola. He was not isolated for several hours and the hospital really did not have any true protocol on how to handle Ebola, until they got schooled hours/days later?

Q: Why do people buy thermometers during an ebola outbreak?

A: So they can tell if their goose is cooked!

Ha hahaha... too soon?

Are there any Jewish victims of Ebola anywhere? Maybe MSF/Doctors Without Borders workers? Or not.

EDIT: yeah, the NBC guy is the son of Mitchell Levy.

ROTFLMAO!

I do believe Ebola is not a naturally-occurring virus. But designed to kill off Niggers? Uh, no. USAMRIID developed it in the late '60s or early '70s, and they've had almost 40 years to "wipe out" Africa. Not very successful. More likely Ebola and HIV/AIDS were bioweapon toys created from extant viruses by literal mad scientists. They tested them in Africa, since it was regarded as "safe" to do so. Both ideas were a mistake (or not). HIV took a few years to make it worldwide. Ebola took decades.

Mystery man in Ebola transfer raises eyebrows

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/ebola-nurse-amber-vinson-plane-mystery-man-no-hazmat-suit-dallas-atlanta/?ftag=YHF4eb9d17

"(It makes) no sense whatsoever," CBS News chief medical correspondent Dr. Jon LaPook said on "CBS This Morning." "There's a moment where it looks like he comes in pretty close contact with one of the men in the hazmat suits. ... That's not okay."
