View Full Version : Dallas Commissioners Will Declare State Of Disaster Tomorrow Over Ebola

While the message from the President is 'keep calm and avoid bodily fluids', it appears the commissioners in Dallas are slightly more concerned at the potential for Ebola to escalate:

*DALLAS COMMISSIONERS TO DECLARE LOCAL STATE OF DISASTER TOMORROW: NBC-TV
*DALLAS COUNTY CONSIDERS DECLARING STATE OF DISASTER FROM EBOLA
*DALLAS DISASTER DECLARATION WOULD ACTIVATE EMERGENCY PLAN

While we are not sure where a "state of disaster" ranks relative to a "public health emergency" such as the one in Connecticut (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-10-10/public-health-emergency-declared-connecticut-over-ebola-civil-rights-suspended-indef), we are certain of one thing - it will mean civil liberties will be reduced as government takes control.

Seeing I can drive to Dallas in a bit more than an hour and the local news coverage is eyeballs glued on the story! Its not as bad yet per the op. I can receive some of the TV stations and all of the radio stations, no one is in mass panic mode yet!

When and if they do I will post it on the forum!

This is merely a technical formality, as Texas "emergency powers" are already in effect, as seen with the mandatory quarantine of Duncan's family, Pham, and Vinson.

The real danger will be if and when President Ebola declares a "national emergency."

And remember, this whole thing started when they brought in that black dude from Africa who had it, and they refused to shut the borders and/or send him back because doing so is "racism".

Where's Prissydent Obola?

President Obama has directed the Centers for Disease Control to dispatch rapid response "SWAT teams" of Ebola experts to any local hospital with an infected patient within 24 hours.

We know how SWAT teams handle things, right?

So if they declare state of disaster, will 80,000 Giants/Cowboy fans be allowed to go to the game on Sunday?
Seems like a good place to spread a virus.

While they wouldn't mind sending my white ass back to Germany, Ireland, or whatever other place I originated from.

I get South Parkie images in my head, as they enter the hospitals knocking down doors screaming to patients and personnel to stay down on the floor. ROTFLMAO!

You don't seem to understand... 'Racism' is much worse than Ebola.

Flu season is right around the corner. This years flu season promises to be one of the most fun we've ever seen.
Anyone with the flu will be suspected of having Ebola. Panic, fear and paranoia will be the order of the day.

Wait until they get the first batches of Ebola vaccine released, people will get murdered in the line.
