I have a flashlite app on my phone but I don't have time to watch a video I know nothing about. So why don't you tell us what the vid is about and what you think of it.

My flashlite app is wonderfull by the way.

It steals all your info and can monitor everything you do, uses the camera feature, downloads your contact list etc...

I run #3 on the list. Seems to have small list of abilities compared to the others but it does take photos.

I had to change phones recently because my phone got hacked. I carry a couple phones. Yet another phone that I was given custody of was also hacked. When I was going through it I came across an app I hadn't seen before. No shortcuts. Was buried deep. It was called something like pitta patt or something odd like that. Never heard of it. Went searching and it was a US.gov face recognition app. Apparently android phones have had that on them for more than the last 4 years.

I know that app name is not right. I'll see if I get time to check the name. To look deep in the phone I used myphoneexplorer with usb debugging turned on.

Jewboy wants us to worry about a flashlight app, but he doesn't warn us about the total access Jewish-owned Google or homosexual liberal-run Apple gives to the National Security Agency, and God knows who else. Everything he condemns the app developers allegedly doing is done, for a fact, by both Google (all Android phones) or Apple (all iPhones).

Another opinion:

No, Your iPhone Flashlight is NOT Spying On You

Are you calling me a jewboy? Just wondering cause in the parking lot the gloves come off.

Miliefsky's bio on his own website:

"SnoopWall, LLC was founded in 2012 by Gary Miliefsky, an information security expert, noted software entrepreneur, and founding member of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security."

He's got quite the reputation for self-promotion, and his claim about flashlight apps is probably part of it.

My flashligh has a button. I just push it and the light comes on. I imagine that its hard to beat the simplicity with an ap. Do I push a button on the ap to make it push the button on my flashlight? Then I would have to figure out how to attach the ap to my flashlight to begin with.

A flashlight app forces the LED flash for the camera on the phone to run constantly, at full brightness.

http://d.ibtimes.co.uk/en/full/1404813/ebola-near-me.png?w=720&h=555&l=50&t=40Here at IBTimes UK we're just 396 miles from an Ebola patient in Frankfurt. Safe, for now.EbolaNear.me

Ebola hysteria is reaching crisis levels, with people in recent days branding the virus "the new Aids" (http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/ebola-outbreak-could-get-serious-aids-epidemic-warns-jeremy-hunt-1469977) and news surfacing on Thursday that a series of fatal errors have been made (http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/ebola-second-texas-nurse-amber-vinson-took-flight-while-infected-showing-symptoms-due-cdc-1470286) by US health workers, leading to contamination and potential contagion in the States.
The lethal disease has killed around 5,000 people worldwide, according to the latest World Health Organisation figures, and panic-stricken tweets and Facebook statuses are a common sight.
Now, app developers are capitalising on that panic with a web app called 'Ebola Near Me' and one for your phone named 'Ebola Tracker'.
http://d.ibtimes.co.uk/en/full/1404816/ebola-tracker.png?w=360&h=310&l=50&t=40How far away are you from the deadly virus? Ebola on the app store as hysteria grows.Apple Store

Using the sort of geolocation technology harnessed by dating apps such as Tinder and Grindr, Ebola Near Me (http://ebolanear.me/)takes the user's location and pinpoints the closest reported case, giving people who use the app their exact distance from the virus.
Designed in sparse black and red, Ebola Near Me initially gives users an eerie sense of impending doom. However, the app's developers appear to want to quash hysteria with a message on users' screens that reads: "Warn your friends! Don't be a victim of the real disease: fear. Decrease hysteria and increase awareness. Read, educate yourself and change the conversation.
"The West's myopic approach to media coverage of global events is hurting everyone."
The web app comes at the same time as the release of Ebola Tracker on the App Store for £1.99. (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ebola-tracker/id914295025?mt=8)
According to the app's description, it's updated every day to reflect the latest outbreaks and also has a map showing the number of outbreaks and their locations, the number of new cases in 24 hours and where you can find Ebola near you.

I use it now and again. I am going to buy another headlamp for work. The Zebra H51 replacement. Now they brought back that design without the GITD reflector.

For the app I went and read their privacy statement. Seems pretty straight forward. No personal identifiable data. They define what that is. Excludes all the stuff that guy was talking about. I know he was fear mongering. And poorly as well. Trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill. With the app I use anyways.

They have some cool ideas going on for the App but also you have to give up more I think if you take them up. They talk about the app being good for disabled people who can't manipulate a torch. With voice rec they can turn on the phone light. Ok can't manipulate a phone? tablet or one of those clown sized ones.

I'm using this one. http://tinyflashlight.com/

Unsurprisingly, the couple in the promotional video is, uh, "diverse" in nature... LOL
