US Vice-President Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden kicked out of navy over drugs

US Vice-President Joe Biden's son has been discharged this year from the US Navy reserve after testing positive for cocaine, a US official says.
Hunter Biden, 44, had been a reserve officer starting in 2012, but failed the drug test last year, said the official familiar with the case, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
In a statement, the vice president's younger son acknowledged his discharge and expressed regret.
"It was the honour of my life to serve in the US Navy, and I deeply regret and am embarrassed that my actions led to my administrative discharge," he said in the statement, issued through his lawyer.
"I respect the Navy's decision. With the love and support of my family, I'm moving forward."
There was no public response from the vice president's office.

He was a reserve officer? So he's discharged just in time to miss Obama bringing them all into active duty to go fight Ebola?

Somehow I doubt a little cocain would have made any difference to his military career if it wasn't for Obama's executive order, and we would never have heard about it. Ok he doesn't have to go to Ebola-land, but how about execution at dawn instead of a dishonorable discharge? Joe how about it? At least people can't say he got off the hook...

He is still roasting marshmellows on the funeral pyres of the dead in the Ukraine.
