I think it is a lens reflection, it is very common when photographing bright light sources...

Clouds are good light reflectors. Some are high and catch the sunlight better than lower clouds. From one point of view, they can look like what they are reflecting. Many occasions have claimed two suns in the sky. Reflection and refraction do some wonderful things.
