Robin Williams had no illegal drugs or alcohol in his system when he hanged himself in August and was suffering from depression, Parkinson's disease and a "recent increase in paranoia," the Marin County Coroner said Friday.

The legendary comedian hanged himself alone in his step-son's bedroom after he started sleeping in that room due to insomnia and restless behavior related to his Parkinson's and anxiety, the final autopsy report released Friday by the medical examiner said.

The night before his death, he placed several wrist watches in a sock and gave them to an unidentified person because he was "worried about the watches" and wanted to keep them "safe," the report said.

His grieving widow Susan Schneider later revealed that the actor had been struggling with deep depression, anxiety and a secret diagnosis of Parkinson's.

He is survived by his three kids Zak , 31, Zelda, 25, and Cody, 22.

The beloved "Mork & Mindy" star was cremated after an autopsy, and a death certificate obtained by the Daily News said his family planned to scatter his ashes in the San Francisco Bay off the coast of Marin County.

As The News first reported, the decision had a poignant personal history since Williams' mom also was cremated and "scattered at sea" off the Marin County coast, according to her death certificate.

After Williams' death, his daughter Zelda said "the world is forever a little darker, less colorful and less full of laughter in his absence."

Enough money was available to make the autopsy report say whatever the family and the PR firm wanted it to say.
