The news out of the United Kingdom almost reads like a satire piece from The Onion. But as strange as it may sound to people around the world, and especially in the United States, the British police push to ban knives is no joke.

People in the UK think different (brain washed a bit). I have a friend and he does not understand why we like firearms, the self defense thing is not understood or accepted. The argument of 'next thing they will ban...' does not work either. Last night I asked him about this knife thing saying I told you they would come after knives. He said good cause that's what they are using since they can't get guns... sigh.

Wouldn't make a difference. Not that they respect their government, but more so they feel they can't do much and don't worry about the govt coming after them like they do in the USi. I have known this friend for 25 years or so, they think about as different as their language is... Similar but different.
