'Your Singular Failure Alone': Sheriff Has Immigration Message for Obama

A sheriff’s message to President Barack Obama is going viral ahead of his planned executive action on immigration reform.
“You’re the only singular person in this entire country that can advance or adopt meaningful immigration reform. By that very definition then, it is your singular failure alone as to why we do not yet have reform, why America continues to be at risk and new crimes and new victims are mounting each and every day in every single state,” Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones said in a video.
Jones was on “Your World” today to discuss his message to Obama.
“This deferred action is deferring the crisis,” he said, stressing that it does nothing to make America safe.
Jones called on Obama to secure the borders now, and he said that comprehensive immigration reform must involve a discussion of all 12 million illegal immigrants living in the United States.
The sheriff added that Congress is also to blame for this problem, explaining that his message is an “apolitical appeal.”
Jones encouraged other Americans to make video messages of their own on this important issue.
