Came out perfect. The cables are normal, no heat and the quick disconnect works great.

Here's the parts list.

All the connections are both crimped and soldered. The only thing I didn't use was heat shrink because I didn't have any but I can do that later on. The tricky part was the quick connect because you have to fill up the connector 1/2 way with solder and then get the cable in there while it's hot. I should have made a video of it, but if anyone has any questions I'd be more than willing to answer.

Power Inverter

2 - gauge Jumper cables. I used 2 gauge because it can handle the power requirements without any issues. I cut out 5 feet from the middle so I can make 1 - 20 foot jumper cable or 2 - 10 foot jumper cables.

Quick Connect - Note you're going to need a torch to make this, you can get them at any hardware place.

Unless you've got a big crimper, you can use one of these and who doesn't like using a hammer.
