nothing much to say other than I find this fascinating.... and of course the fact that scientists must be bracing themselves to see many of their theories fall apart. New area in astrophysics is on the horizon

VLT telescope reveals mysterious alignment of quasars with the Universe’s large-scale structure

By Chris Wood

November 21, 2014

Astronomers using the ESO’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) in Chile have discovered an unexpected alignment of the spinning axes of supermassive black holes located billions of light-years apart. As if that discovery wasn’t fascinating enough in itself, the team then delved a little deeper, finding that the quasars aren’t just linked to each other, but are also aligned with the large-scale structure of the Universe itself.

================
Mystery of the 'spooky' pattern in the universe: Scientists find that supermassive black holes are ALIGNED

Eerie observations were made by the Very Large Telescope in Chile
It found alignment between huge interstellar objects called quasars
Quasars are galaxies with supermassive black holes at their centres
Scientists looked at rotation of the central supermassive black holes
They were parallel to one other over distances of billions of light-years
Probability alignments are down to chance is less than one per cent
'This may be a hint that there is a missing ingredient in our current models of the cosmos,' researcher Dominique Sluse said

Yes, he's known as God.

large structure challenges eisntein' smooth cosmos theory... and other principles... would make cosmology too bloody complex? yeah thats what happens when monolith-thinking is believed to be absolute truth.

Walter Russell, genius ostracized by the academia, asserted that without understanding the nature of electromagnetism and light, theories are doomed to go bunk one after another. It only is a matter of time...

Here I'd always thought man's ego was larger than anything the universe could ever put together...
