National Menorah at White House reveals who runs America
The Jerusalem Post recently published an article reporting that Vice President Joe Biden will participate in the lighting of the National Menorah on display at the White House in Washington, DC, revealing who really runs America. It's not White Christian men, as the Jewish owned and controlled mass media would have us believe, that's for sure.
Vice President Joe Biden will assist in the lighting this year of the Hanukka menorah on the ellipse in front of the White House.
Biden’s participation on December 16, the first night of the holiday, marks the 35th anniversary of the first lighting of the “National Menorah,” an event sponsored by American Friends of Lubavitch, the Washington office of the Chabad movement.
It has become a tradition for Cabinet-level US officials to assist in the lighting.
Could it be any more obvious that the organized Jewish community dominates and runs the United States, especially at the highest levels of politics and media? America is a Jewish country, and has been for quite some time now.

In 2010, according to the US Census (data provided by the chosenites themselves), Jews made up 2.1% of the US population. The highest concentration is in, unsurprisingly, NY and DC.
Why all the bother for such a small minority of people?

Why not? Let's have a written opinion from the judge on why "Menorahs as symbols of the Jews" is OK and a cross or anything referring to Christmas, is not.

To keep you up to date on all the festivities:
Hanukkah, the eight-day Jewish Festival of Lights, begins at sunset Dec. 8. And cities across the globe are celebrating with festivities, most focused, of course, around the lighting of the menorah. We highlight a few of the largest—literally—menorahs in the world that will be lit this year, and list other cities that will have big displays in honor of this Jewish holiday.
Lighting of the Hanukkah Menorah in New York City
On the Upper East Side, just across from The Plaza Hotel, you can watch as New York City lights one of the world’s largest menorahs in Grand Army Plaza. The gold candelabrum stands 32 feet high, and candles will be lit every evening beginning Dec. 8 at 5:30 p.m. (In honor of the Sabbath on Friday and Saturday, candles will be lit at 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., respectively.) The Dec. 8 celebration will include live music, folk dancing and traditional snacks like sufganiyot (jelly donuts).
Chanukah on the Ellipse, Washington D.C.
This year will mark the 33rd anniversary of the National Chanukah Menorah lighting just across from the White House on the Ellipse. The ceremony begins at 4 p.m. on Dec. 9 and includes live entertainment from The United States Navy Band and Dreidelman and The Macabees, and features hot latkes and donuts for guests to enjoy. A new candle on the menorah will be lit every evening throughout Hanukkah.
U.S. Vice President Joe Biden Slated to Attend National Menorah-Lighting
Thousands are expected to attend the ‘the premiere Chanukah event in America’
By Mordechai Lightstone | December 11, 2014 12:16 PM
U.S. Vice President Joe Biden will attend the 35th annual National Menorah-Lighting in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, Dec. 16—the first night of Chanukah. The ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. on the Ellipse, a popular public park located just south of the White House.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive as early as possible due to security measures.
While details about Biden’s role at the event have not yet been confirmed, Rabbi Levi Shemtov, executive vice president of American Friends of Lubavitch (Chabad), which sponsors the annual event, says he is looking forward to the vice president’s participation. The lighting has been known to draw thousands of individuals and families to usher in the eight-day holiday.
“At the premiere Chanukah event in America, if not the world,” says Shemtov, “we’re delighted that the administration has chosen to participate on such a senior level.”
The National Menorah Lighting started in 1979 as part of a campaign initiated in 1974 by the Lubavitcher Rabbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, to raise awareness of the holiday and hold public menorah lightings. It was attended in 1979 —in the midst of the Iran hostage crisis—by President Jimmy Carter, who lit the shamash (the helper candle from which the others are kindled) and shared greetings with the assembled crowd.
Every president since has recognized Chanukah with a special menorah-lighting. In 1982, the menorah lit in Lafayette Park became publicly referred to as the “National Menorah” by President Ronald Reagan.
Last year, some 70 million viewers watched the ceremony as it was broadcast on TV networks across the country.

When Ace Screen Printing owner Adam Szyfman, of Glassboro, New Jersey, decided to erect his own eighteen by sixteen foot menorah in front of his store opposite the Winterland Outdoor Ice Rink, it came as a surprise to the local Chabad representatives.
Szyfman, an alumnus of Rowan University, "told me that the town put up a holiday display across the street in the new ice skating rink, and he didn’t want the Jewish community to be left out,” said Rabbi Hersh Loschak, Chabad representatives on campus at Rowan.
It is now 41 years since the first Chanukah menorah was put up in the public sphere by Chabad-Lubavitch. More recently, local businesses have begun to put up their own menorahs outside their storefronts.
“When we started our own line of menorahs for Chabad centers 35 years ago, there was little recognition of Chanukah,” said Rabbi Baruch Klar of Lubavitch Center Fine Judaica. Klar manufactures an array of indoor and outdoor menorahs. “Today I receive calls from malls, banks, senior centers, office buildings and private people who want one standing outside their home.”
From a handful of menorahs in the 1980s, his business, one among several manufacturers of large scale menorahs, now takes orders for some 900 of these eight-branched candelabras a year. The outdoor menorahs featured on his site, menorah.net, are available in two sizes: nine or twelve feet tall. The menorah comes in a bag with wheels and is easy to take apart and store away.
Rabbi Yisroel Shmotkin, director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Wisconsin remembers when Chanukah meant very little to Milwaukee’s Jewish community. “Today Chanukah is a part of the fabric of the city and the programming of the local Jewish organizations.”
This year, menorahs will be in locations across the city, and not just in public parks. “Local banks, private office buildings, museums, malls and other locations have menorahs,” said Shmotkin. Every year Chabad of Milwaukee works to add at least one new location to the list of places featuring a public menorah. This year the local Barnes and Noble will have one.
Szyfman made his menorah out of PVC pipes, and spray painted it gold. He sees the menorah as an extension of the Loschaks’ efforts. “If Rabbi Loschak wouldn’t have been in this town, I wouldn’t have been doing something this big. This goes hand in hand with what he is doing.”
Many are expected to attend the town's grand Menorah lighting on the first night of Chanukah on Tuesday, December 16th, a joint project of Chabad of Gloucester County and Chabad at Rowan University.
Rabbi Avrohom Richler, co-director of Chabad of Gloucester County, said this is a fulfillment of the Lubavitcher Rebbe's, vision. “The Rebbe wanted us to inspire others to spread the light of Judaism. These are the moments we dreamed about when we started Chabad in South Jersey.”
Szyfman said he is hopeful that this menorah will serve as a reminder to local students that “just because they are in college does not mean that they should lose their faith.”

NEW YORK, Dec. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The World's Largest Chanukah Menorah will be proudly standing at New York's most fashionable plaza, Fifth Avenue and 59th Street, by Central Park, between the Plaza and the Pierre Hotels. The first candle will be lighted on Tuesday evening December 16, and the full Menorah will be lighted on Tuesday evening December 23. All weekday lightings are at 5:30 PM. Over the years the World's Largest Menorah was lighted by New York City Mayors, Abraham Beame, Ed Koch, David Dinkins, Rudolph Giuliani and Michael Bloomberg, Governors Mario Cuomo, George Pataki and David Paterson, United States Senators Jacob Javits and Charles Schumer, as well as many other dignitaries.
"The Menorah stands as a symbol of freedom and democracy, strength and inspiration, delivering a timely and poignant message to each person on an individual basis," said Rabbi Shmuel M. Butman, Director Lubavitch Youth Organization.
DESIGNED BY WORLD RENOWNED ARTIST YAACOV AGAM AND CERTIFIED BY GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS
The Menorah was certified by Guinness World Records as the World's Largest. It was specially designed by world renowned artist Yaacov Agam who lighted the Menorah many times. It was inspired by a hand drawing by the Rambam (Maimonides) of the original Menorah in the Holy Temple of Jerusalem.
REBBE PERSONALLY APPROVED MENORAH
The Menorah stood in miniature on the desk of the Lubavitcher Rebbe who personally approved its form. The Rebbe wanted this Menorah to be the world's largest and when there was talk about making a large Menorah in another city the Rebbe asked for that city's Menorah to be smaller.
The 32-foot high, gold colored, 4,000 pound steel structure will be lighted nightly with genuine oil lamps. Specially designed glass chimneys will protect the Chanukah lights from the Central Park winds.
Due to the height of the Menorah, it will be lit nightly with the help of a Con Edison "cherry-picker" crane as well as two lifts that lift the lighters to the "Menorah Heights."
"REBBE LIKED THIS MENORAH"
"The Rebbe liked this Menorah," said Yaacov Agam. "The Rebbe sent me a special letter thanking me, emphasizing that 'where ever there is light there is shadow.'"
HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS TO VIEW MENORAH
The lighting of the World's Largest Chanukah Menorah is always the central event of Chanukah for the millions of residents of New York and visitors to the Big Apple. It is also a favorite with the International media who put the World's Largest Chanukah Menorah in the center of their "Chanukah story," bringing the World's Largest Menorah into the homes of hundreds of millions of people throughout the world.
GRAND MENORAH PARADE
On Shabbos (Saturday) evening, December 20th, the Grand Menorah Parade of over 300 Menorah vehicles will take place. The Parade will leave Lubavitch World Headquarters at 7:00 PM and will pass by the World's Largest Chanukah Menorah at 8:30 PM.
HOT "LATKES" ON FIFTH AVENUE
Sunday evening, December 21st, a special Chanukah celebration will take place at the World's Largest Chanukah Menorah. The celebration will include live music, singing and dancing, "Chanukah Gelt" for the children and hot "Latkes" (potato pancakes), the traditional food of Chanukah, will be distributed to everyone. "We want people to 'taste' the tradition," said Rabbi Butman.
A CAMPAIGN FOR MILLIONS
New York's most popular radio stations, WCBS and WINS, will carry a steady Chanukah call to millions of people to "Come light the Menorah." The message by Rabbi Butman is for everyone to light the Menorah in their own home, "It's exciting, it's triumphant. It's many voices as one cheering light over darkness, joy over sorrow, freedom over oppression."
"The prominence of the Menorah carries an additional message," adds Rabbi Butman. "The Rebbe teaches that soon there will be another light, an eternal light, the eternal light of Moshiach, the eternal light of the Great Redemption."
The lighting schedule for the World's Largest Chanukah Menorah is as follows:
Tuesday, December 16 - 5:30 PM
Wednesday, December 17 - 5:30 PM
Thursday, December 18 - 5:30 PM
