Many, perhaps most, big advertisers are managed by Jews.

e.g. New York retired advertising Jew, my sister in law's father.

that sister in law did something impressive, raising their children outside the Jewish faith.

as far as 'product placement' - the Star of David - i'm pretty sure that it becomes like a game, where Jew advertisers compete to insert the 6 pointed star in as many places as possible.

Although similar to the Star of David, the Dodge brothers were not Jewish. Although the "Brothers" was dropped from the name for trucks in 1929 and cars in 1930, the DB star remained in the cars until the 1939 models were introduced.

Interesting they would drop it at the beginning of WWII.

Although similar to the American flag... be assured the symbol pictured above is not it.

In 1925 the Dodge brothers widows sold their interest in the Dodge company to Dillon Read investment bankers. Read the wikipedia entry on Dillon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clarence_Dillon) and maybe that's the reason for the star.

I skimmed through the article... strange that there is no mention of him being involved in Dodge. ?

.....................In 1925, Horace and John Dodge's widows sold their automobile business to Dillon Read (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dillon_Read) investment bankers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Investment_banker) for $146 million. Upon her death in 1970, Anna Thompson Dodge left a sum to the City of Detroit for the construction of the Horace E. Dodge and Son Memorial Fountain. The fountain was designed by sculptor Isamu Noguchi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isamu_Noguchi) and opened in 1978 as part of the city's Hart Plaza (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hart_Plaza#_and_the_Dock_of_Detroit). Horace E. Dodge, Jr. died in 1963 at age 63.[7] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horace_Elgin_Dodge#cite_note-news-7)

They liked it, that's all. Same reason people regularly used the Swastika prior to 1930 without any real understanding of its meaning.
