A local resident recently questioned a Spokane Valley Deputy about why the department would need armored vehicles that are typically used in war zones overseas. The shocking admission that he gave in response proves that so-called “conspiracy theorists” may have had good reason to voice their concerns after all.
Why would local police and sheriff’s departments need armored vehicles in the US? The answer that this deputy gives is chilling. If his reasoning is representative of other law enforcement agencies, then we, as citizens, may indeed have a big problem on our hands.
I mean, we’ve got a lot of constitutionalists and a lot of people that stockpile weapons, lots of ammunition,” the deputy says. “They have weapons here locally.”
