Sad to say but I like Cuba better than the US as well. You dont have to worry about getting killed by cops every time you get pulled over. People are friendly and things in many places there are similar to the US in the 50's.

I don't think there's a single member here who 100% agrees with any other member. I love pretty much everything you post, but not every last thing. I've learned a lot from reading your stories and wisdom from your years, and I'm sad you won't post as much because you didn't get whatever "backup" you felt you needed. Plus, consider that just because people don't write out responses agreeing with you doesn't mean that nobody does. The cop thing needs to be taken case by case. Sometimes cops are the good guys, sometimes they are the bad guys. Increasingly they ARE bad guys since of the policies, training, and hiring parameters. The justice system is also totally bent in their favor if there's a possible crime they've committed.

I had a very negative image of cops when I lived in California but now that I'm here in Idaho I view them more positively. That's probably because we have a Constitutional sheriff (part of Sheriff Richard Mack's group.) I've done firearms training with the police and know some. One invited me to spend Thanksgiving with his family since I live by myself. Also our sheriffs department has done a lot of ads on the local radio encouraging people to get concealed carry permits to make our community safer. They aren't all bad. There's a higher percentage of Constitutionalists/Patriots amongst the police than the general population. We shouldn't lump all police together since we defame the ones trying to do the right thing in the process.
