Terrorism has a feature that ordinary crime does not: Terrorism isn't investigated. It is identified by the media, as are the perpetrators/. It is not prosecuted either. That is entirely because most of it is sponsored by governments for political motivations--usually to scare a population into submission or to elicit a plea for protection by the government. In its essence, terrorism is government sanctioned crime--blamed on some party other than the government perpetrating it. If the war on terror was honest, it would be the government waging war on itself. But only a dishonest, corrupt, hypocritical government empowered by a mass of very stoopid people can engage in such a war. But the war on terror waged by the US government is not honest. It is criminally insane. The people engaged in it are criminally insane, and those who empower it and approve of it are lacking in morality as well as critical thinking ability.
