I very definitely prefer women who look more "feminine" which means softer features overall, and certainly a less masculine looking jaw, than many of these contestants. And yes, they should be "white".

I have dated Russians who were better looking in the face at least (though not as tall and model-y) than many of these women.

The Miss Ukraine girl, looks very Polish, which is not surprising as Lviv is very close to Poland and for a time, was part of Poland.

And Miss Russia, being from near the Ukraine/Russia border, looks Ukrainian a bit - and her last name, ending in -ko , indicates some Ukrainian background.

I've never been a big fan of media sponsored beauty contests. All the women in this contest score high on the physical beauty gauge, and I think all of them should win on that score. But these contests put them through a cookie cutter exercise, where each one gets to show the world what she thinks the cookie cutter 'winner' is because it's a competition. There's money and status at stake, and that reduces the value of the beauty down to zero. I stopped watching these ceremonies on TV when I was a teenager. Beauy is in the soul--and that's how I judge it. It doesn't hurt to have some attractive physical features--a pretty face, an attractive body, vibrant health. What I look for most carefuly in women is a strong sense of self-worth and a willingness to recognize that in others. I'm sure all these ladies in this contest have that, but their outward demeanor is that of Sorority girls--which is rather a sophisticated form of being a gang member. A form of artificial elitism--not based on ability, but membership in a group. I've enjoyed the talents of Miss World winners such as Aisharya Rai, and Sushmita Sen both Indian movie actresses who have unique combinations of beauty and talent. For my tastes based on facial featuires alone I would say Albania, Belgium, canada, France, Indonesia,Japan, Luxembourg, Scotland, Sweden Ukraine, and probably a couple others I missed.
