Are you really happy about the new year coming?
Are you celebrating the New Year?
Will you be spending money on sparkling wine/Champagne, an expensive dinner at posh restraurant, party favors?
Will you be watching the ball drop in NYC?

Today I bought two small frozen lobsters for $13 which I split in half. a three pound filet of beef for $25, a bag of frozen oven French fries. I'll make sauce bearnaise to go with it from scratch, and a nice sallad. To drink we'll have a magnum bottle of non-alcohol cider ($3), and some Italian red wine (about $7 a bottle) with the meat. Tomorrow I'll spend another $25-30 for some fireworks to shoot off at midnight for my 11 year old son, I doubt it would make my soon 15 year old daughter happy though. I bought some mouldy French cheese before Christmas, which me and my wife can have with some wine and crackers and ginger snaps after midnight. A GRAND party for 4 for less than a Benjamin! :)

I agree, though I don't like how this particular Holiday season has been going. Will be glad when it's over. But, tomorrow I can enjoy Christmas #2, as I say it. I've had to work Christmas for the past several years. I'll see some of my family tomorrow. New Years doesn't mean anything to me, but working on Christmas sucks.

A reasonable prediction based on this chart, would be sideways action from now until August, slight plunge of Dow in August down to 15,000. Deep pluoooooooooonge in September to 7,500 a dead cat bounce to 8,500-9,000 in October-November, followed by the plunge down to basement Early 2016 4-5,000. I think Martin Armstrong may be spot on with his 2015.75 prediction... http://armstrongeconomics.com/2014/12/07/big-bang-2015-75/

Silence, God I love this peacefulness. All I hear is the channel marker very faintly in the distance. A sea otter is near the boat, he's eating clams, and I hear the clack clack clack. Other than that, nothing.
This place is Heaven. God bless folks on GSUS and Happy New Year.
