Is this America's urban future? I say yes it is.
Some very striking photos taken over the course of a mere five years -

The deterioration of those neighborhoods is certainly sobering. Here in Denver, urban neighborhoods are the exact opposite. Tons of building, developing, renovating and additions going on. I'm currently involved in (let me think...) 10 residential projects in the city of Denver, ranging from remodels to additions to new construction.

Gee, I wonder why?
I'm thinking Denver is going to be a very expensive place to live in the future.

One of the comments said houses without electricity and gas don't catch fire by themselves, or have windows broken. We all read stories about a homeowner dying in the house or while away and it's not noticed for four or five years because some neighbor cut the grass. The house does not deteriorate that much in five years unless acted upon by outside human forces.
That being said it's all part of the plan to deindustrialize the west and make it a third world region. Look at all the ghetto thug incidents at local shopping malls around the country since Christmas day, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Dayton, Nashville.

Problem reaction solution.
There can be no gubbermint tyranny if there is no crisis to terrorize the citizenry.

If Detoilet wasn't populated by all those drug-abusing, career criminal White Supremacists, it wouldn't be swirling in the bowl... :)
