It was up 1 % at 8:30 AM, fairly normal.

Then, BANG ! Another 2%.


What is the news that drove the price increase, if there is any news ?

Are you suggesting that short term market moves are driven by fundamentals? Ah, so innocent. ;-)

This is the last active day (tomorrow will be very low volume) to re-position for the start of 2015. Today's move was a good signal for precious metals in 2015. Let's see if it holds.
