Shipping containers are truly mansions compared to what they *really* want for everyone - dumpster living (although this group denies that), i.e. for those who survive the die-off.

and if they don't pay rent, it is pretty easy to cleanup past tenant possessions.

From the article:
After finishing touches and final inspections, the 40-foot-long former container will feature 320 square feet of living space with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen, and will serve as home base for a university-student caretakers of a neighborhood farm and agricultural research activities.
It sounds like they have just reinvented the trailer home, but trashier. How novel.

I don't think I've ever seen a more bizarre photo than this one. Did someone's imagination run wild with photoshop?
The gal on the left has a rifle. In the dumpster on the right, is that a body covered in a blanket? Check out the tires on the car next to the gun lady. There's a satellite dish, above the car, which is really out of place. All the wiring around the buildings is insane.

People. I think we have an insight here as to how an (ex)cop thinks. The rifle is an umbrella. The body is 'something'. Tires are tires. Satellite dish? Everyone has one. Wiring? Welcome to the turd world.

The rifle is an umbrella. . Nobody carries an umbrella that way. Do you see any rain? Any precipitation? Negative.
Heck if I lived there I'd be carrying my rifle too.

I imagine it's actually a real photo of real life in the Third World. The satellites dishes are reflective of the fact such families have no hope for a better home, so with what little they have extra they buy "entertainment" like Dish or DirecTV.
I think the "body" is stuffing or an un-upholstered couch.
EDIT: I did an image search. The photo is real, and it's a slum in Buenos Aires, which is a "rich" country for Latin America. Colloquially, they call them Villa miseria (Misery Villages).

Thanks for that, basically this is what's coming to the US.
What an epic designed plan this is turning into.

I know how I found the image. I am unfamiliar with an 'image search'. Could you fill in the details? Or is this something only the CIA or NSA are familiar with?
Failure to respond with details will be considered an admission that national security is an issue.

No. I've been to Buenos Aires a few times. It's flat. There are no hills that big. Though it could be elsewhere in Argentina. I saw a shantytown just outside of Buenos Aires where the houses seemed to be made of cardboard.
I wonder if this one is Cuba, though it really could be any of thousands of places.

I wasn't familiar either, so I googled "image search" and found TinEye (https://www.tineye.com/). I pasted in the URL of the picture and sure enough, it found Buenos Aires. But it's not Buenos Aires.
Oh, wait. I bet they mean the province (state) of Buenos Aires, not the city. There are some hilly places further inland.

I am not obligated to respond. If you say please, I may choose to.

Or copy and paste the url of the image, it works surprisingly well (actually stunning). I've been able to put names with photos that had no name attached.
So be advised, if you ever post a photo of yourself (or of ANYTHING OR ANYONE associated with you) on the interwebs google is going to find you.
